Here is a one minute video that will be projected on a "sail" 12 feet high screen in DC and loop all day. It's part of a foosball tournement we are organizing for a client at the GTM trade show. It's a bit big (6 megs).

GTM 2003 : qt mpeg4 (6 megs) (http://www.wemakedotcoms.com/videos/gtm-2003-mpeg4.mov)

Almost 95% lightwave. Just a little compositing for transitions (like the ripple effect). But other than that it's all lightwave. We had about 10 business days to produce this (and by "we" I mean "I"). I had started modeling the foosball table earlier in anticipation of the project.

Hope you like it :D

Jerome.

Nice work,
Certainly has that "trade show" feel to it. So, just how tired are you now on a scale of 1 - 10 ? ;)

well It's not too bad as I was able to wrap it up by friday and not have another all week-end long last minute rush like last year's....

Nice job man! Really great to have your work at a tradeshow showing all day isn't it? When I was in Monaco half year ago and saw our own animation running the whole day there, it definately gives you a rush!

I really enjoy your post work as well. Nice editing, especially the text idea.

Question, why the heck do they call fussball foosball? It's a German word (like kindergarten). Ok, don't answer...

Just another question out of curiosity, how much did you charge those people?

John

Sorry for the delay I was in DC to set up the projection and Foosball area. The text scene at the end (the corporate part) is actually all Lightwave. Just two big images mapped on two square polys. All rendered in one scene with motion blur added.

As far as charge. That client is on retainer :( so no additional $$$. We mainly do this to generate new leads ;)
