I can't understand how APS will ever work with the F-prime previewer (without slowing Layout down to a virtual standstill) If it has to wait for LW to subdivide the current frame, that's going to be a tricky one to make work, surely

I would think that would be an issue or Worley, not NT. And I suspect worley could just turn that feature off for it's rendering system.

Course, on new systems we'll all be buying in a year or two, that might be a moot point.

But a HUGE concern for Newtek, should be:

"How many LW users will be getting divorced because they played with the LW 9 beta on Valentine's Day??" :D

Can anyone say if there will be edge wgts in V9. Im really excited about the n-gon patching, hoping there will be edge weighting as well.
thx

A pity I won't have much time to play with it 'cos I'm so busy at the moment, but good news anyway. I've ben skeptical to begin with, but it seems like LW is indeed beginning to get back on track...
