how to make a light fixture

i was wondingering if there is a tutorial on how to make a light fixture on modeler.... this tutorial would be very appreacative.. thankx....

what kind of light fixtures?

Why don't you just model them like a box with a transparent front?

I have a ceiling fan with a round globe covering the light... Make a sphere with 100% luminosity and render with radiosity. Voila. No charge for that tutorial. ;) Might want to be a little more specific when asking questions.

Draw a wacky spline..
Lathe it..
Extrude it..
Press 'Q' .. name it: myLightFixture..

Send it off to the client..

It's all in the manual.. under "Light fittings and ornaments"
