Screamernet usage question

I'm going to setup and begin to use Screamernet (thanks for tutorial links!)

I have a question: can anyone tell me how much use my 600 MHz iBook might be in conjunction with my Dual 450 G4?

Each is RAM-Maxed: 640MB for iBook; 1.5GB for G4.

For most things, the G4 just whips the snot out of the iBook, so I wonder if bringing a 600 mhz G3 to bear against render tasks might be more trouble than it's worth...

....or, does every little mhz help?
