VERY nice work !
She's looking very good, and very young too.
I have no critics on the model, except maybe the lower legs seem a little too long, but without feet it's hard to tell.

Don't forget to add specularity to the eyes, they're a little dull right now.

Again, good job ! :)

Yeah, the ankle looks too long and the eyelashes look strange - very thick, separate and uniform.
Otherwise, very nice so far. Would like to see the textures. How are you texturing the body? Various UV maps? I'd like to see how you're breaking her up.

Her body has some nice fattie tissue and the shape is just right for a young woman. Nice work.

The eye and face seem correct but they lack the spark of life. do you think so? shape is one thing, living is an amazing other and hard to 3D.

Have a great life, your doing wonderful.

Is someone able to tell me which head is better? The first or the second one?
Please, judge my work:confused:

That is beautiful work! I love it, the only critique would be the eyelashes, they are too uniform. Keep going, this is great stuff.

The first one looks better, I liked that she was a little less than the normal colord. I do like the eyes in the second one though. I would have to agree with Takkun, the eyelashes seem to uniform.

Great geometry!!! thanks :)

As far as critical comments on your model is concerned the only thing I can see that looks alittle odd is her ankles. I suppose it is possible for a person to have ankles that thin but to me it looks like they could be thickened slightly. IMHO :)

I have to say that I like the first head better as well, it just feels warmer and more natural.

Hi everybody,
what do you think about this face?
And respect to the other two, which do you think is better?

Hi everybody.

Your doing great!
Things you may wish to think about.
1. Does the black on the eye lid go all the way to the eye ball?
2. Why are the eye lashes in focas and the eye brows blured?
3. Are the lashes a bit to thick?
4.Is the distance between the eyes the same as the distance accross one off the eyes?
5. Would we like her better if she liked us? If she liked us would she be looking into our eyes?
6. Are the whites of the eye really that white?
Hmmmm?
Have a renderful day
Mike

Looking great!!!:)

Possible suggestions:

-I agree that the whites of the eyes are a little too white, some pinkish outer hues would help with the realism.

-You might also consider doing a different iris treatment. Considering she a young beautiful girl a light blue or green color would fit nicely, although, that's more of a personal thing. A little more detail to the iris texture might also help. IMHO

-I also agree that the lashes look too thick. Longer and thinner feather-like lashes might work better. UV mapping as opposed to actual geometry? JAT

-Possibly a deeper texture on the lips.

-I love the velvety quality of her skin but it still seems quite cold. Warming up the lights could help with that?

That's about all I can see for now. Keep in mind that these are all just suggestions and this is still better than anything I could ever do. I'm really quite envious
:D

Keep 'em coming!!!!

Thank you very much for suggestions.
I beg your pardon if my English is not so good.
I did not study English at school. Somebody helps me when I have to write English.
We didn't undestand some suggestions.
I mean to make up the lashes.
I have to work more to the eye brows (blured).
The right side of the face is "too much" perfectly mirrored.
I will give a little pinkish to the eyes.
The color of the iris is the mediterranean blue, but i will make it more shining.
There is a new step of my work..

Looking great!. Can't wait to see her with hair. :)

The many ways of doing eye lashes:

UV mapping - fast rendering and can look pretty good from a moderate distance.

Spline guides - using Sas. Lite, tends to get the most realistic result but rendering is tricky, memory issues

wireframe - the most common approach. Tricky to set up and animated. Pretty descent realism.

Natale,
Looks good.
I'd soften the edge slightly where the white of the eye meets the iris. It's a bit sharp and softening it would imply that the two are connected. (Similar to the line defining the lips -well done: not too sharp)

The thickness of the eyelid should show a bit more. It's a bit dark which makes it look like the black from the eyelashes is touching the eyeball.

There is usually a bit of reflection at the tear duct that implies that the eye is wet.

The brow ridge around the eyebrows could be a bit more defined also. (see my comments in the Asian Girl thread)

It might be worth seeing what slightly lighter brightness/shade of eyelashes would look like. (not as contrasty with the rest of the image)

I've followed your progess in your thread and have to say that i am impressed. My only criticism is the level of perfection in your model...

...Even glamour models have skin imperfections and i think if you would incorporate more of these subtleties into your work then it would be absolutely amazing - like how you've added wrinkles under the eyes - it adds so much integrity.

A little pock mark here or a slight dimple there wouldnt do any damage to your wonderful creation, but may enhance it.

One other thing - the length of the eyelashes is too uniform. By this i mean that each strand looks equal in length to the others. They are also too dark - either this woman has incredibly thick eyelashes, or she spends an absolute fortune on mascara and eyeliner, hehe.

I would love to see your progress with this.

Looking good Natale.

Pogie said something about the eyelashes, and I'd have to agree. The length is one thing that should be random but I was going to say more the size of the clumps that the eyelashes are in you should make a little more random. Keep it up.

Natale,

This is looking really nice. How did you do the eyelashes? I think that they would look nicer if they were modeled.

Sorry if my answer will not be long and exhausting,
but my english is not very well. (thank google :-)
I thank you for the suggestions and also for the critics,
expecially for:

"the level of perfection... of the skin",
"I'd soften the edge slightly where the white of the eye meets the iris",
"the length of the eyelashes is too uniform."

As soons as possible i will show the new modifications of my model.
Thank you again

Hi,
Following your councils I have added of the modifications with photoshop on the previous image: modifications to the skin with color and spot, and I have framed the ace with feint hair and dress.
What of thoughts?
I put in the texture with lightwave?

only the layer with the spots and the colors
