the model looks good but not happy about texture or may be the lighting.

heres another render with different textures. I still cant seem to get them to look right. I tried a silver render and then i went back to the original gold and silver.

Awesome model!! You definitely want something to reflect, the botton pic is the best. Are you ising F-prime? You can adjust your white and black levels in the image editor to get rid of the speckles. You should be able to serach and get info if that isn't clear enough... been a while since I used it.
Also, try sitting it on something instead of letting in hang mid-air.

im just making lil changes. Im not using F-Prime. As for the spots, where in the image editor can i edit the black and white levels?

Just for fun-set the ligt rgb 240, 240, 220 and see what happens.
Nicholas Boughen has written a fantastic book named:
"LIGHTWAVE 3D 8 LIGHTING". 500 pages with a companion cd.
