Make Preview buggy?

I've just had Layout quit on me twice in a row while doing seemingly innocent "make preview" things..like "End Preview" or moving the frame counter thing.

is this just me or are other people noticing this, too?

version 8.5, btw

Yup, you are not alone. Just tweeking a walkthrough - making sure you see everything you need to see and nothing you shouldn't. Everytime I 'end preview' Lightwave crashes on me.

Just saving everytime I preview - bit of a pain in the butt though since I need to reload the scene over and over...
