I'm thinking about getting this computer and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with using LW on an iMac.
I'm gonna get it with either 1.5 gigs or 2 gigs of ram.
I dont do animation just product renders.
TIA!

I can't comment on the G5 iMac, but I am doing LW animation and video right now on a G4 Mac Mini—a lesser computer than the iMac you're considering—and it is fine for the work. Not as fast as a G5 by any means, but it gets the job done. I'm sure a G5 iMac would fit your needs.

Thanks for the reply!
I've used LW7.5 on a 400MHz G3 and it was OK lol! I'm sure the G5 iMac will work great! :D

Hello there,
I use the 17" iMac G5.
I think it is brilliant, I do not use it for modelling, I use a dual G5 for my 3D work.
So have no fear and enjoy a lovely computer.
