Hi Keith !
It' looks great so far, you realy didi good job on modeling. I'am not familiar with your machine specs but you could save soem polygons in certina areas anyway :).
Only thing what needs small corrections IMHO are seams/gaps between doors. Doors edges are too rounded now ? Just make one more small bandsaw on interiro edges and it will be fine.
cheers.

Hi Lewis, its good to hear from you. What are you working on now? - your Viper was awesome.
Thanks for the advice about the door gaps, I think you're right. Do you ever adjust the sub-d point weights to control the tightness of a bend like this or do you do it all with geometry?
Here's another pic which better highlights the problem with the rounded door edges...
Cheers,
Keith

Hi again :)
Hmm i'am working on 4 projects now :).
I don't like point weighting :(. I really avoid that and tend to add geometry where i need sharper edges. I'd rather make two small bandsaws than point weight. If we ever get EDGE weighting in LW then i would use it but with points it's not soo good for my needs (it's usefull for some stuff but not too useful for my cars). Point weighting in some areas would be very good but sometime when you have big gap between two points then isn't looking too good in middle of them.
cheers

Sorry for the question that may seem idiot, how can you have this kind of visibility in LW (wireframe color, sketch color or what other ???).

dppd69, I had converted the screen grab from modeller to a gif and edited the pallet to get the wireframe shade - there's no equivalent in LW I'm afraid.
Anyhoo, here's an update... I modelled a factory environment for my car. Still to work on the texturing of the factory, lighting and STILL need to model some decent wheels!

Thx for the answer... I lost my mind in finding the settings.
I have used LW since 5 years, but never focused on this settings.
The view and the model are COOL at all. Great job.
Your last image seems that it came from another package !!! (XSi LOL)
Cheers and go on with wheels...

Just a little thing for your scenery i think it would look really coold if u made it kinda of all rusted and stuff. i just think it would give it a good effect as supposed 2 a nice clean area
