Hi,

I wonder if people would be good enough to give me some feedback on this character I'm working on - it's just the head shot for now, I'll post a full body one (posed) soon.

Right now, I'm just concentrating on the head - is there anything that stands out as being particularly bad?

There's just two basic layers of textures at the moment (procedurals and gradients for spec/glossiness) - I will *try* to add a custom UV map later to go on top of what's already there.

You can be as critical as you want, I won't throw my toys out of my pram!

Well here he is:

Thanks,

Adrian.

I like his chin and mouth area (it has personality), the overall shape of his head is ok but a few things could make it better.

He doesn't seem to have any cheeks. his cheek bones are very strong (maybe a little high but that's up to you). I think behind the mouth you should pull the cheeks out some, right now the slope is very drastic.

His eye lids/shape needs to be toned down some. Between them and his brow he looks a little to surprised. I think you could use this head for a morph target but he shouldn't always look like this. Close his eye lids some and "relax" the brow.

His nose could use some more definition in the nostril area.

Perhaps his neck is to thick, push the front (adams apple) area back some.

And his ears look kinda stuck on like Mr. Potato Head's

Keep on going man, he's getting there.
