LW 8.5 problem

Hi,

I have upgraded the Lightwave 8.3 to Lightwave 8.5
in both of my machines and now I can not open
some of the default Lightwave scenes like:
sunsetsample.lws or teasetsample.lws
or zombiesample.lws and etc..........

I even can not open the lightwave scenes exported from VUE
Infinite.

I always get this error:

LSFPSCONVERTER.LSC
Line 160, invalid argument 2 type to parse()

This happen on both different machines.

Could someone help?

Try rescanning your plugins folder. That's fixed alot of errors for alot of folks.

I have rescaned plugins in both computers but it does not help.
I also reinstalled the 8.5 update.
It looks that only sunsetsample.lws or teasetsample.lws
or zombiesample.lws and etc..........
and Vue Infinite exported scenes have this problem.

Is there some other solution?
Can you open these Lightwave secenes and the scenes
exported from Vue Infinite in your computer
in version 8.5?

Go to the General Options Tab in the Preferences Panel & make sure your Frames per Second setting is at 30.

I'm guessing that you have changed this to 25 for PAL or 24 for Film. There seems to be a bug in the conversion script that kicks in when there is a mismatch between the saved scene FPS & the current setting.
