Here is one of my first truly organic characters. I am using procedurals and a couple of planar mapped Alpha channels, but I intend to UV map it eventually.
I hope to rig it later this week. What do ya think guys?

Nice - a couple of suggestions.

1. I think the end of the trunk swells too much.

2. Have you considered flattening off the soles of the feet more?

3. The only thing I really dislike a lot - the separate hind leg, it really should blend into the body, or it looks like a cheap and nasty plastic toy.

I would look at some foundamentals of the design by looking at how animators/ cartoonists look at the anthropomorphization and break down the different elements that make up a Quadrapeds.

Off the top of my head look at Frank Espinosa’s Draw the Looney Tunes: Most of them are Bipeds but the principle is the same.

I agree about the hind legs - they are actually attached, even though they don't look like it. Most of the other stuff too. I'll try to redo the legs and repost tomorrow.

The legs and feet are mostly right now I think. Still to go:

Add a tail
Add eye lashes (it is a girl after all - "Elle")
UV map
Rig

Most of this by next weekend I hope.
