Hi all - Great forum and great users.
I'm building up a VT4 Live system to be used primarily for switching. I'd of course like to use the more affordable and spacious Seagate or new WD SATA drives. I've read many statements that SATA drives will work for this application (of course SCSI is always recommended) and just wanted to know where and what types of issues can show up.
Are any of you successfully switching using SATA drives? If problems occur, at what point? Is SCSI for switching really required for the system drive, content drive or video array? Thanks in advance,
S
