Matrox Parhelia APVe?

I'm looking at this display card for a new video editing/LightWave workstation. But the fearsome video requirements stated for LW 8.5 scare me. Is anyone using the Matrox card with LW?

I should add that I'm leaning toward this card because it can drive two displays plus an HDTV monitor...great for editing.

Matrox Parhelia 128MB DDR (AGP) which was £250 i think.

Its not bad. Ive had loads of trouble with some games and trying to install Linux is a nightmare. I would go for a NVidia of ATI card. Better support and drivers.

If i were you id go for a NVidia 7800GT. www.overclockers.co.uk are selling for £199 + Vat.

Maybe a FireGL V5000. Its about £300. Not sure what the benchmarks are like.
