Screamernet setup for one computer

Does anyone can point me to the step by step Screamernet setup for dummies. I mean for me.

After reading LW manual, Dan Ablan's "Inside Lightwave 6" I've tried to setup my computer, just one computer not farm, for batch render and can't force LW to see my only one CPU.
