DVView in LW75b

I just added the DVView plugin, selected DVView in the Render Options, Render Display.

But I dot no get an image out to my DV camera when I render.

I tried the connection with the camera and Adobe Premiere, witch was OK, so i know that works.

What is really the point? Just to view as you render on a TV, or can you render frame by frame to tape?

DVView is not intended to render to tape. It would not make sense (at least to me) since DV is not so great from a quality point of view. It's compressed, colors suck etc. However you should be able to preview rendered images on a DV device/ monitor. Still lthere is no guarantee that it works. I haven't given it a try but I'm quite sure it will not work in too many cases depending on how the DV stream is transferred. There are always minor variations depending on the manufacturer of the hardware.

It only works with F9 renders. It's pretty much just for checking color for NTSC issues before doing a full render.
