Display Background Image Camera View

Hello,

I am having a problem with the viewing background images from my camera view. Instead of the view showing an image, it's always this messed up display. I am using LW 7.5b on a Mac OS10. 2.5. I have tried this on other macs and get the same distorted image. Has anyone else experienced this? I am thinking it could be my video card but I have had the background display correctly in OS 9 on the same computer. My video card is horrible(8mb), It's all I have to work with right now.

i can think of 2 things that might be causing this problem.....
7.5b? are you nuts? they pulled that version because of the bugs! move back to 7.5.

and also, 8 meg cards are wayyyyy too old for LW 7 and up, expect problems.

having said that i personally use an ati 16 meg card, and i still havent actually deleted 7.5b yet and find myself running it occasionally, and I haven't seen the problem you are showing (not that i remember using a background image in 7.5b). I'm guessing its the card. my bw g3 had similar openGl texture issues in another 3-d package 4 years ago.

I will switch back to 7.5.
Yeah, my card is bad. I need a whole new setup.
