Recording options?

I'm trying to make a record panel for a special purpose.

The scripting commands for recording are in the docs, but I don't get how to choose a codec and resolution.

Anybody care to enlighten me?

I don't think scripting is the way (could be wrong) but I don't get it in C either.

TScipt won't pick a codec but it should reuse the last codec used. So you could force it one way and hold those settings for each time it is opened.

Otherwise, I would think you would be want user to open the same requester that Recod Panel opens after you select Capture Properties button. I can see if one of the engineers might have a C++ suggestion. Send an email to oz@newtek.com describing the steps user would do.
