I am doing a training video with video that I shot. I also needed some specific information and created an interface screen for a machine with Photoshop. I imported the image into After Effects and made some fades and masks to show the different buttons, utilizing blurs and fades. Exported the file (3 seconds) as an AVI file. In TE, the crouton shows the motion just as I made it in AE. When I drop the AVI onto the timeline, I only get the last frame of the clip showing for the entire 3 seconds. I even imported it into Aura and output as an .rtv file, it does the same thing.

What am I doing wrong - any suggestions.

Are the In/Out points stretched all the way out? You can do this automatically by selecting the clip and hitting the "G" key on the keyboard.

It worked, thanks for the help. That also explains a similar problem I was having after rendering a short project, it appeared as though the beginning was cut short.

It's that magic Toaster logo that NewTek pasted on his head Ted. Some of us got T-shirts, Dan got a T'knowledge-seeping logo; drip ... drip ... drip.

I just wish NewTek would stop changing the logo. Oh well, I guess it's time for the belt sander.
