Hi everybody
its been a while since i posted anything on this section, so im back, and with
two new shots of my great white shark model tweaked and completely re-
textured. Im going for the photo realistic look for this model.
so here are the shots tell me what you think
cheers Andy Gee
I like the lighting. A few bones and a undersea background, that will really look good.

Looks sweet!
The great white is one of my famost animals.
Do you plan to animate it?
btw, I would add some particles to give substance to the water, theres always millions of little things in the water.

Awesome, - in the best sense of the word!
Looks to me like you've spent a long time on the textures, but (yes, you can throw stuff at me.....) I think the inclusion of some gouges and old war-wounds such as scratches and scars on the great beast would lend a lot towards the realism.
Other than that, on a scale of 1 to 10, this would get a 12.7834. -(or something)-
well done!!

It looks really great, however i can't tell if it is just the image or the bumpmap, but if it is the bumpmap then i would say to try and tone it down a little bit, i liked the smoothness of your first few renders....however i also agree with the comment saying to add some "battlewounds." I don't know if i have ever seen a picture, especially of a great white, that didn't have a lot of scars on it....anyways, great work, keep it up.

I liked the blueish versions more, feeled like a real picture taken under water, now it looks a little too sunlit (with a white lightning).
Your shark is definetly a killer (-mesh)! Keep it up!
I found a picture as a reference for some kind of fog effect due to all kind of microscopic particles.

Much Much better in my opinion. You really have the lighting down very well, and the texturing looks great. my only thought is that i still don't quite think that the bubbles in the water look very believable, they don't quite fit the realism that they rest of the image creates. in place of these i would maybe make them some sort of floating algae or something. anyways, great image, keep it up.
