Real nice!
Especially like the hat.
The shadow seems a bit dark though. A little distracting.

Robert Shaw, "Battle of the Bulge".

Yes?

Very good model!

Wohaaaa, if my clients would read it....

Yea, it`s a mixture of few typical "german" actors, first of all Robert Shaw (really, the Battle of the Bulge), Ed Harris (he looks as a perfect german officer), and Rutger Hauer

This is a post processed work, because it goes to a print job (a huge one). Lot of the wrinkles, folds and details on clothing added via Photshop. First of all the time didn`t allowed too much work neither on the model nor on the texture, that`s why I choose the post-process

Mann, its real nice! - i really like his face and hat. You cant
say much possitive about the old nazies, but the uniforms
was damn cool.

Nice work for a "quickie" and nothing wrong with doing post-work. I know it saves lots of time from test rendering and tweakin'. I'm just curious as to what type of "print job" this is for (considering history and all that) but I guess I'll wait til' after "E3" for the project details.

I believe E3 is the video game conference they hold each year...that would explain the relatively low poly model, and post work for a print job. Is he a guy for a Battlefield 1942 mod?! :D

He does have a stern "I'm gonna come over there and pistol whip your ***" kinda look too! Which I suppose is quite accuate!!!

I can assure you, that he is anatomically well proportioned. In this era the uniforms tailoring was done like this, especially at the Panzers divisions. The belt was much higher than today. This allows a more comfortable sitting in a panzer cockpit. Check out photos of the uniforms, and you will find the same. And don`t let yourself misdriven by today`s replicas. I used real photos of german soldiers as reference.

Wow... ich muss sagen dass du den nagel auf den kopf geschlagen hast. Dein model ist wirklich perfekt! Hast du ein bild as referenz benutzt? Ist das model fur ein spiel or nur zum spass?

German, me? never!

Great work!

Superb. It has that Airfix Box look to it. The first image is the best for me, the creases in the second image look over done and make his uniform seem more like a Luftwaffe flightsuit. The first uniform look much heavier fabric...realistic. Also his face is more pale and grey in the first image and makes him look older and mean. The second image looks more doll like and passive. Go with old and mean ......booooooo hissssssss :p . Fantastic modelling job, shock & awe. Oh...he needs a Lugar...reminds me of my last boss :D
