Here is my latest Proton character animation. Thanks for the great models William.

Here are the specs.

Animated and rendered in LW7.5. Compressed with Vidget. Some IFW for textures. Rigged with the help of the Othopack1 plugs. Animated with the help of Keytrak using the pop-thru method, followed by a few straight ahead passes.
5 Lights total. 3 spots, 1 point, 1 Distant.
Total rigging, modeling and animation time involved was around 9 hours.
It took 1.2 hours to render on a DualAMD 2000+ PC w/ Win2k.

Comments and crits are welcome.

Thanks,

David Mitchell

The Animation was good but the camera work sucked

Way to go for your first post, Noe. Could you be more specific with your critique?

I don't see where the 5 lights and the IFW are. I see 2, maybe a 3rd light.

I'm not familiar with the 3rd-party animation helpers.

Noe: What would you suggest for changes? I picked the 3 shots for readability. I'm sure something could be done for dramatic effect. The first shot, I felt was a good way to introduce the character with some interest. The second shot was to set the stage after the opening shot. And the last shot was to allow the viewer to see the character's expressions and allow for strong poses.
Zarathustra: There is a spot shinning into the room from the doorway. Two spots for the windows. One "point" for the off-camera lamp and finally, the distant light for the fill, pointing to screen left.
IFW on the door and door frame and the blanket.

Both are outstanding.
