Greeting all here..

I have need of help in this.. When I render a picture and wish to save it say as jpg I have to tell it to be a jpg or whatever.. before I would simply give the name of say .. Taranis and I would pic the format and it will save as Taranis.jpg
but now I have to tell it to be a jpg..

If I don't tell it to be jpg it saves as a "file" and no picture is seen even in thumbnail in my image folder.. to see the picture I need to use "Irfanview" and that tells me "Taranis" is a file with incorrect extension! Rename!..

so any ideas whats gone wrong here... It as I said worked before

I got a loan of Photoshop the other day just to see if i want to use it.. I delate the prog and I think thats when every thing went wrong I had some form of crash and here I am begging for help. :o

You need to turn on the save output files in the render option panel and then select what type of file you want it to save as.

Hi!
I got the same problem.
I think it came when I downloaded the tiff-plugin from flay.com
I tried to change the output-file to what I want it to, but it didn't work..

I hope someone else know how to do it

Are you trying to save a single image as a jpg? Because if you render that frame you should save it threw the rendered image preview panel File-save rgba-lwjpg. I am not sure if the image is saved when you use f9 to render that frame.

I had a problem like that when i installed a new codec. The funny thing was the fixes was to install another codec and for some reasone the first codec started working. You try this with a different image format plugin, any one will do.

I had the same problem, what I did was to reload my plugins and no it's ok.
