hey gang...i'm having this problem with this character's shirt. I made a shirt, duplicated the ploygons then flipped them so the shirt would appare 2 sided. after rigging & positioning, i get this dark color spot on his left shoulder...I believe its a polygon issue & not a texture or lighting issue...both the inner & outter polygons share the same surface name so i can't just hide one & adjus the other. Any suggestions?

After you copy, flipped, and pasted the shirt polys, did you merge points?
It's probably the inside polygons coming through the outside ones, and casting a shadow. Just use the double-sided feature in the surface editor instead of adding all those polygons, and add thickness where you need it, like the sleeves -

Is the model subpatched? If so, it could then be a missing or flipped subpatch poly section where the poly's aren't forming a complete solid form.
