Eagle Head

This is my attempt at an eagles head.
I am trying to get better at modeling so I wanted to try this. Comments welcome.

Also, I am getting ready to surface this and am not entirely sure how to do the fur on the head, I have some ideas but if anyone knows of a good way to do this, please let me know.

You have captured the shape very well, bt I think that the feathers will be the big challenge! The larger feathers may need individual modelling - but with clip and transparency maps, this should not be too painful...
