Lightwave update files.

I'm looking for update files for my LW 3d. I could not find anything except the latest update file (7.5b). I have 5.6, and am looking to buy a 6.0 upgrade. My question is, once I buy the 6.0 upgrade, are there update files available for these older versions? Mainly, is 6.5 a free update to 6.0? Or, is it a purchased upgrade from 6.0 with new manuals, etc.?

Yeah, if you upgrade to 6.0 the move to 6.5 (and 6.5b) are free. You realize you can upgrade to 7.5 with a free upgrade to 8 when it comes out for $495? It is SOOOOOOO worth the price. Just do it, you won't regret it.

Where do I get the upgrade file?? Cannot find it online.

To upgrade from 5.6 to 6.x you need to get a CD, it's not a simple patch; i.e. you have to call Newtek and pay for it. Same goes if you want to upgrade to 7.x

Hiya all,

Managed to get a cheap version of 5.5 and was looking for 5.6 upgrade but all the links are dead that I've tried. Anyone got any idea's where it can be downloaded from ?

Just using LW3D at the moment to create objects for use in RCT2/The Sims but will expand later.
