how do you learn dynamics from LW8 scene inside the content directory

I saw some cool effect in some scene in the dynamics folder inside LW8 and
when I open them, everything is pre-calculated and I can't see any of the value they used, So I can't know how they did it.

is it on purpose ? are those scene just to let us see what LW8 can do , or can we actually learn from those files ?
if yes, could you tell me how,

Some of them used Motion Designer, rather than ClothFx (which is just applied to play the recorded motions), so if you open the MD controller panel you should find the settings there.. If you remove the ClothFX plugin and click start on the MD panel (if the object is active) then it should simulate okay.

You might find the Dynamics section of the Spinquad forums useful as it has tuts and examples etc.

This has worked for me even with my own files. Just clear the motion file right within the dynamics panel and it will clear the file itself but leave the settings that are used to create the original dynamics.
