disappearing objects in Layout

Can any y'all tell me why my objects are disappearing when I move them around in Layout?

do they dissapear when you drag them towards the camera?
your world units size is to large.

Well, they disappear no matter how they are moved...I've messed with the units, but nuthin'.

The layout can only display a limited number of polys in real-time rendering. This is controled in display options, under 'bounding box threshold'. Rack this up a bit to get more polys in realtime, but too high and it will slow down your system too much.
