How do i only displace the part thats not weighted?

Is this Modeler or Layout?

If you're talking about Modeler, set the falloff of whatever tool to 'weight map'

If you're talking about Layout, apply your displacement, then put a gradient over it set to weight map, set the layer's blend mode to Alpha, and make the gradient black to white, and play with the values until you get what you want.

Toby, I think you may have taught me something here. I don't think I ever tried using a gradient on a displacement. Maybe thats why they don't look as good as they should.
I think Newtek needs a head banging on wall smiley.
