WIP: UV mapping this little guy

I'm reworking the UV maps for this little guy that I'm building.
I'll be working on the body tomorrow.

Nice modelling and texturing, even at this early stage.

Please be sure to tell us how you did the UV mapping. I for one just don't know how to use UV properly even using the unwrapper plugin (I still get seams).

could you show us the untextured model, the UV maps, and the textures? I'm curious what all the raw parts look like to get what you have so far. :)

Sure guys, no problem.
But, I think you'll be bored when you see the boring UV maps on their own. They don't look very cool or anything at all.
And the object looks pretty plain also with out any texturing.
I'll get the screen shots I made the other day posted up here.
I posted them up at the regular alt.binaries.... news group, but I'll post up a couple of likes here too.

Sorry.
I didn't realize that there was one.
And no dought, that people "WILL" be asking me for "Tips" and the "Tricks" I used to get it where I am currently, anyway.
Correct?
I guess I'm just used to the alt.lightwave.blah.blah newsgroups, where I don't have to worry about pissing anyone off by posting something slightly off topic.

P.S. This place is dead enough as it is, so I wouldn't push it for trying to kick anyone out of here.
I have been checking into this forum since this morning, and haven't seen anything until you just now posted a complaint.
My point being, that we should take what we can get when we can :)
