insect wings

Hiya,
Ive created a swarm of wasps using FX linker. The wings are animated with endomorphs but the swarm all flap at the same time!! Any ideas on how to offset the animations on each wasp would be good.

thanx, will give that a try, was hoping that i could get lightwave to do it automatically by just pressing a button!! (not that Im lazy....)

hi gazmon,
i done it with a birds swarm using the cycler motion plug. within the cycler you have a speed option that worked fine for me.

i set up two birds, one bird the wings up the other the wings down and both have a reverse endomorph. after i set up the particle swarm wich represent the birds motion i replace the particles with clones of the birds.
before you clone the birds add the cycler plug....

thanx joschy. is the plugin a freebie and where do i get it from? pretty new with lightwave but am enjoying learnig (well most of it!!! putting off learning to rig a chartacter!!)
Is true what they say about the lightwave community..v. helpfull.

cycler is a standart plug within LW. you find it under the motion options, its called cyclist. for more infos, please look in the manual.

Been playing around with clcler n cyclist more. Thanx Joschy, its v. useful (for maybe bike wheels n things!!!)
