That
is
so
cool!
thanks for showing the in-process sequence.
How many polys did it take?
Would love to see the finished and animated character. Some kind of chicago crime boss or construction worker, it looks like so far..
Maybe define his cheekbones to the sides a bit more?

veeeeeeeeery nice! i dig 'em... like sugar smacks!
seriously, it looks great. i am not that great at the "box method" but it seems to have great results, which you have shown! Are you going to texture him or is it just a practice thing?
again, great job!

Thanks for your comments guys:) As far as what he is suppose to be I was wanting him to be a Super Hero character. But hey, maybe he was a crime boss that got busted. Then had to go lagit so he got a job as a construction worker by day and is a Super Hero for a couple of hours after work and on his days off:D Sorta of a part-time crime fighter. And here is a wireframe with the statistics window. Hope this helps.

Just an update. Added eyelashes and brows. Also spun a few quads to fix pinching on the head.

Well I think I'm finished with the head. He has basic teeth, a tongue, and that little dangly thing at the back of your mouth. And with his Super Hero mask on , you can hardly recognize him:D I suppose this will be the last post on this thread. Will start a new one as I build his body. Unill then..........

"hey... look at me... and my huge muscles!"
he came out really nice! i love the style. have you seen the the green hornet site? it has tons of stuff in this style. you may dig it. and... it's lightwave too!www.greenhornet3d.com (http://www.greenhornet3d.com )
it made me laugh (in a good way) when i saw the mask picture with the unmasked and masked version. it was like he was posing... "so, what do you think? does this mask make my jaw look fat?" hehehehe. don't take it the wrong way... i think it's great!:D

Thanks Micah. If it makes you laugh then I think I've done what I set out to do with his face:p I hope I can pull off the same effect with his body. I'm going to get started on it today. Keep an eye out for the post "Body for Wacky Head". As far as the Green Hornet site, I haven't seen it. And for some reason my server can not find it:confused: Any ideas? Would love to see it.
