Cutie...:)
but the soft specular on the clothing seems to clash with the cel-shading of the rest of her.

Yeah. Your right.
I'll change that.

Kawaii! Sweet; but vertically compressed, at least on my monitor.

Cheers,

yes, she looks a bit vertically compressed to me too - any chance of having a butchers at the wireframe?

Good work tho!

I noticed that too, but then again, that could be the style you're going for. Is it?

Umm ... what does vertically compressed mean
Do you mean to short.?

I think they mean vertically compressed because your model does not look like a typical TOP MODEL who has skinny long legs and no hips. Personnally I prefer it this way because this is how I like my women, nice hips and little meat on them.

Keep up the good work

When i do cel shading i have problems with the edges. If i use the Object>Propertys>edges settings when the object get a far distance from the camera the lines are so think compared with the object they almost cover it? are there any free plugins that do it for you?

Looks very good, if a little unusual (in a good way). I know of an artist who creates similar characters in 2D, but she usually makes the ears and eyes a lot bigger.

I'd be interested to see how this progresses :)

What is meant by vertical compression is that she looks a bit too wide and at the same time, a bit short as things get when stuck in a compressor. I think its the third image that you stuck up that gave that impression - maybe because of the angle - the other two images look fine.

Nice work - reminds me of Super-Cat girl Nuku Nuku! :p

at the Object>Propertys>edges settings is a checkbox "Shrink Edges With Distance" (at least in my version of LW) wich should help you!
