Open GL or Digital Connector Woes

Well I just got a new Samsung 213t, I have one at work and I loved it sooo much I got one for home.

BUT, now LW wont work. Everything else seems ok. I also have Motion Builder and a few games on the system - everything else is good - but LW hangs when its almost done loading. Both LW and Modeler hang up.

I have a Pentium 1.5, with a Quadro 500 video card and i just installed th 71.84 drivers, and I updated my LW to 8.2.1.

he only other difference is that I am now going out of te DVI port rather than the svga - but then again my other OGL program works.

Any Thoughts

sounds like some kind of hub issue. check your firewall, and tcp/ip network settings perhaps....

And if you have Nortons 2005, it will not let HUB run, and cause LW to hang.

You are correct sir. That is a new install. Besides disableing it - is there something else I can do to specify and allow the hub to go?

Yeah, go to the Norton control panel and you will see the options to allow or deny applications to access the net. LW does not, but HUB uses TCP/IP to send data between Modeler and Layout.
