AURAVT now wants a LWVC.dll path

Upon launching AURAVT on two machines here we see a file requester pop up and a notice on the little Aura launch frame that it wants a ....aura/plugins/LWVC.dll. ( think thats it)
So OK point to that folder OK and it finishes the launch and behaves normally. So it seems, I think. Or cancel also launches it OK. But now every time we start up AURAVT this happens. It fails to remember the path. Yes, this setup is saved on exiting.
Note that this path and plugin folder is new to the last build of T2 #3980. What is the fix?

The following is the response I got from Jim Davis, DVS Direct, on the VTNT Mail List back in February; it worked for me.

Open Aura
When the requester opens up goto [YourDrive]:/VideoToaster2/plugins/Aura/Preview
Load LWVD.dll
Open the Preview/Lightwave Filter
close Aura [and save settings]
After that it should take and you will no longer get the requester .
