Dumb installation question

Hi,
I have just installed lightwave on my wondows XP SP2 machine - but I cannot find launch the program from my start button. nor can I see the .exe file in c drive in the lightwave folder. What am I doing wrong?

On install, Lightwave should have created 2 shoortcut icons on your desktop.
Also make sure that the doongle is propperly in the right place and that your pc is virusfree.
