View Full Version : 25fps 800x600 on a laptop

Not sure what forum to put this on but does anyone have any ideas what the best way to get a 800x600 25fps animation to run smoooooothly on an "average" laptop. I seem to remember I gave up trying some time ago after many tests and had to settle for quicktime sorenson 3 25fps at 400x300. Should I be using quicktime at? What codec - Divx?

PS there is no sound

Quicktime with Motion JPEG or Photo JPEG compression might do it.

Tried those and although they run through smoothly the image is a little jagged in places do you not find, although using Cleaner the variables take forever to run through and your settings may be different to mine. Mpg4 with a spatial setting of 75 seems OK. I'm assuming here that Mpg4 is a quicktime 5 component and that my client is likely to have it. Gonna look it up.
