question about motion paths

I have a camera moving along a motion path that lasts 60 frames long. I want it to stop at the end of the motion path and just hold still for another 300 frames for some reason when i add more frames than sixty the camera will not stay at the end of the motion path. Help would be greatly appreciated.

edit your curves. select the object, hit CONTROL G to go the graph editor. set the relevant keyframes' incoming curve to LINEAR.

That or you can add a few more keyframes around the point you want to stop and then set the tension to 1 to flatten out the splines.
