View Full Version : Raydiosity per object settings
I'm not sure if this is a good idea to speed up raydiosity and getter better quality. But how about per object settings for "rays per evaluation" and "evaluation spacing" ?

It would be nice (why waste tons of rays on a simple box where it would be more useful elsewhere in the scene?) but I think with LW it wouldn't be possible. I guess you think of a MAX style implementation where radiosity is driven by geometry tesselation, but since LW can't modify geometry in this manner (one more reason for a procedural object class in Layout) it sounds undoable.
