hi.
I want to create lazers. reflected by mirrors..
I made the lazer out of a volumatric spotlight...rotated it VERRY fast..turnd on motion blur and antianilasing...
turnt on raytraced shadows and reflections..but no results//
Is it possible to reflect volumetric lightning?
and if not...does anyone has an alternatove?
just a render for fun..to show waht it looks like now.

They should reflect simply using raytraced reflections.
Take a look here for a very simple scene:

Try making lasers out of object (save some rendering time) use tapered box or disc, give 100% (or higher) Luminosity and add some Procedural texture on transparency channel for realism if you wish to.

thanks for reply-ing..
They don't reflect using raytraced-reflections..and making them out of objects..would eem...decreas the fuctionallity alot. I'm hoping to animate them. I allready animated them.. so...I'll just have to accept it.
unless someone got an idea...to make lazers bounce,,,,Pleas..?
anyone?

They don't reflect using raytraced-reflections..Very strange (never had problems reflecting Volumetrics lights)... but looking better at your image it seems they're already reflecting.
Try with a simpler scene version and test again... or send me a copy of your scene ad I'll test it as soon as posible. ;)

the volumatric light beem...shout bounche...hit a mirror...and chanche direction...
what you see is the reflection OF the lazer.. not a refelected lazer.
i can;t believe I acctually found a problem that can't seem to solved. unless cheated.
again....is there no-one...
