I haven't realy thought about just how much prespective amount can effect your work until now,i was wondering why it isnt it setup in lightwave how we view objects through the human eye.
Does anyone change their settings ? or use lightwave default

Because if you notice pictures of peoples faces in some pictures you will have more narrow view, fore example where the head become as if their squished ,where in other pictures their alot more full and correct and if you happen to use these kinda pictures as reference you will get incorect size.

As you can see image 1 has more narrow feel, like the default prespective and others are more correct

howdy,

i couldn't have picked a more pleasant subject for a photostudy!

denise richards is very very hot.... shake it madam... capital knockers.... demi's gotten a bit mannish for me but....

anyhoo,

most of the FOV info can be come across in most photography books.

for a 35mm camera, a 50mm lens aproximates the perspective that you get with your eye.

longer lenses (more than 50mm) tend to increasingly FLATTEN OUT OBSERVED PERSPECTIVE.... so you can use a telephoto lens to flatten out a man with a very large nose. you could also shoot someone running at you head on with motion picture film and yet it would seem like he wasn't moving forward very much....

shorter lenses EXAGGERATE perspective so that a person's nose seems closer and the ears further back....

yes, choice of FOV is a VERY IMPORTANT part of composing any shot and should definitely be considered in an INTENTIONAL as opposed to INCIDENTAL manner....

very very very important!

and especially if you aren't familiar with photography at all, excellent observation!
