Quicktime in layout?

is there a way to import a quicktime movie into layout? If there is how do you do it?

Also if there is a way to import a quicktime, is there a way to apply an alpha channel to only get, say, just a dancing skeleton without a background

The OS X version of Lightwave does it.

You load the quicktime into the image editor, and select the alpha as surface transparency.
