View Full Version : Cyber Guy
Hello all,
Here's a model I've been working on. I know it's a little far ahead in the process in fact the modelling's pretty much finished but I thought I'd put it up anyway.
Not sure how many hours I've been going on it for but it's around 40-50.
Any crits/suggestions? :)

Yes I would agree - more view please. But what we can see that looks a heck of a good model. The only thing I don't like is the thin part around his elbow region, kind of looks a little unnatural. However that's just my opinion, maybe you want it like that.
The rest is awesome.
Adrian.
Hey all,
Here are some more views as requested, and some mesh tweaks.
I am trying to build the rig using the "johnny Gorden" rig technique which if you havn't seen it is quite impressive and quite ridiculous.

I'm making the rig based on those couple of images and my chaotic head.
If anyone knows a good comprehensive guide to muscle bone type rigging I would appreciate it.
:D

Yep, just as I thought - awesome from every angle!
Adrian.
Thanks adrian, it's the first thing i've felt good about putting on the WIP page
I'll keep posting more pics as I go :)

I was wondering if you could post a pic in wireframe? would be exciting to see.

nice, my suggestion: increase the subdib level and add low AA to you render.
The edges look kind of jaggy.
Goo job!
No problemo, i'll wip up a wireframe in the next few days.
antwik-2: That problem with the jaggy edges is quite odd because i've got AA on low but I guess you might be right about the subdiv level fixing that.
The skydomes a little over exposed too. I used the "A Faster Lightdome" tutorial for that one. It's pretty **** cool.
here's the tutorial in case anyone is interested
