Not sure about those heavily corroded pipes - it doesn't really fit with the super clean rest of the tunnel.

Nick, Yeah the pipes are just a start of the texturing. I would like to start and add a bit of grime to just about everything in there.

Okay here is my Pilot for the fighter her name is Toni "Angel" Dehdra. She's not rigged yet but she will be soon. Any comments or suggestions are more than welcomed. I think this is my second "mostly" finished characters so I would appreciate any help.

Should work well for out of the ship views. A couple of minor suggestions...

Maybe add some details in other colour for the helmet? Attention often focusses on the head area. Maybe a coloured stripe over the top and a number at the side...

I'm not at all sure about the very shiny main costume. Perhaps toine that down a bit?

Cheers,
Nick

Nick, Yeah I've UV mapped the helmet and once I get the UV cleared up and looking good I'll add that extra touch of detail your talking about. Mabie even some scratches like this sucker has been worn before. I looked at the settings on the flight suit and your right some how my reflection was cranged up to 15% wozerz thats not what I wanted. I also cranked down the spec hilight settings so now it looks more dull.

Hmm I forgot to post the animation. This is where I left off on it and there is some MAJOR work that I need to do to the motion and textures. But any help and ideas are always welcomed!

Some nice camera work, I like the angles.

That spine in the tunnel looks rather odd though - I can see it gives an excuse for some nice twisting, but its rather odd to have a big obstriction in a launch tunnel...

Thanks Nick, This isn't a launch tunnel. More like a complex exahust vent. I'll defianlty have to add some cross beams and other details to make it more cluttered.

Here is an update. Knocked off 4 seconds of animation and changed some of the figters, camera, and light rigs. C&C are welcome.

I like it a lot! And I absolutly love the way you animate the camera !! Where the spacefighter dives down into another pipe/tunnel thats the bit where I scratch my head and go: "wow....did that just really happened".

Keep up the good work. I think You need to work mostly on you textures.

Cool. I like it. I just have two problems with it, the camera movements seem very mechanical, camera and ship. Its as though they have "snapping" turned on, hehe. They hit their mark and instantly stop, and switch to the next movement, maybe try to "ease" the movements. Also, it seems kinda slow for a spaceship. But besides those two things I think it's really awesome. I especially like when it switches tunnels.

Yes, the twist and dive is awesome, very effective!

Maybe add some flares on the engines that get brighter as it turns?
