Hiya
Heres my new character - the 2nd one ive ever finished! still have a bit more texturing to do and am working on rigging him using IK (a first for me!). Had some mad fits on his arms so far. But I'd like to know your thoughts so far?

Where is the tutorial you're talking about?
The character is very nice and yes, the clothes are great - and I don't see any stretched textures on his waistcoat!
Nice work.
Adrian.

Cheers Adrian.
The waistcoat just has a UV map on it. The tutorial I based it on is here: http://www.newtek.com/products/lightwave/tutorials/modeling/clothing-details/index.html
gazmon, Sorry to hear that the tutorial wasn't that helpful. I have been following the work the author has done on SpinQuad and it is amazing. If your interested here is the link to that thread:
Grand Space Opera - characters (http://www.spinquad.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3707)
What other plans do you have for this model? Any animations in the works?

Lede, thanks for the link - the clothes are amazing. I did find the tutorial useful, its just that I tend to make things up as I go along so sometimes my meshes get messy and things don't always work on them! Thats why this blokes head ended up bigger than it should be but I left it cuz I kinda like it like that. I'm getting better at planning things though and using more reference material (I even did a rough sketch for this character - next time I'll scan it in and use it as a template!)
I do plan to make an animation with him, I've rigged him up and done a few tests and given him morphs. I've created a street scene to put him in and plan for him to go to a bar but not really got any concrete ideas what will happen...
