Anyone else having trouble with this?
Aura only seems to pick up the object surfacing info when it is first loaded - i.e. if I make changes to the mapping in Modeler/Layout and save the object (creating a UV map for instance), Aura will not pick up the UV map unless I quit and restart.
Also, the filter seems to have big problems with directory paths with spaces in them.
Suggestions:
1. Would it be possible for the Aura edits to the image maps to be automatically reflected in Modeler/Layout to save having to reload the image each time I make an edit? This would be very cool.
2. Is it necessary to assign an image map in Modeler/Layout before using the filter in Aura? Would it be possible for Aura to pop up a "New Project" type requester to allow you to enter image size? Otherwise you have to create a blank image map first, map it in LightWave, save the object and then finally load it up in Aura.
At the moment the LightWave filter is a nice idea but (and please correct me if I'm wrong) all it really seems to do is eliminate the step of taking a screengrab of your model/exporting an EPS and loading it into Aura - other than that there seems to be little or no integration between Aura and LightWave.
Or am I doing something wrong ;)
