Not bad but the anatomy pretty much looks human. As he probably evolved a few billion light years away, chances are evolution would have made him a bit different.

well, I wanted his anatomy to look human since I'm hoping the viewer will be able to relate to him and his adventures- he represents us evolved over a few millenia

he must have some terrible balance with those little feet. Also his arms look like little toothpicks in comparison to the body. I know he is supposed to be somewhat alien. But the proportions just don't seem to fit. I would thicken those up and maybe enlarge the extremities. IMHO:)

it looks too ''boxy''. it is smooth, but it basically looks like 1 plane for the front, one for the back, etc. and its not rounded enough....dunno if you get what im tryin to say....

Here I expanded the upper hips, triceps and increased foot size. I changed the backlight position to show the arm size better.

It seems that the head is a little out of proportion to the rest of the alien's body. I'd suggest making his head a little bigger, he still feels a little "too human"

The rump is a bit remisicient of Elizabeth Berkley in "Showgirls." I would think that an advanced species would have perkier buttocks.
Sorry for the goofy sh!@t.

heres an initial head shot-
as you can see, I'm still learning uv mapping, I'll be re-doing all of the textures here soon, now that I just bought a graphic-tablet :) ( any advice on how to smooth out the mapping around the sides of the nose?- I used cylpindrical uv unwrap)
- btw thanks for all the good crit's guys
