Hi guys our company is on the look out for a freelance modeler(s) to work on UK housing developments (in other words someone with experience building UK style houses).

If your interested can you point me to examples of your work (mostly modeling based, but we may need layout and rendering expertise at a later date).

If you already have set rates for your work a list of those would also be appreciated.

You do not have to be from the UK but every county has it's own style of houses, so you would need to be aware of how houses in the UK look.

Just thought i should give you guys the link to our company website. You won't see a 3D section on the site as we are working on a standalone site for 3D work.

But you may have seen projects i have worked on here in the forum in the past.

Looks interesting, so is Netramedia kind of an advertising agency ? I remember your nice houses from a few months ago.

Will you supply the plans in CAD? I would think any modeler worth his ploys could work from a set of plans and give you what you want. I might like to talk with some about your needs.

Hi guy’s thanks for the response.

Ingo – we are a creative digital communications company, we’re not an advertising agency but we do overlap into there domain.

Main activities are:

Multimedia CD-Rom
Plasma Screen Presentation/Promo Displays
Websites
Flash Presentations
3D Visualisation

I have added a new page to the site of past 3D projects. It’s a flash base gallery, but might have couple of glitches so bare with it.

Wade - what sort of documentation could you work from, would you always require CAD type files or could you also work from prints. Most of the house projects are not that complicated so we tend to fined we still receive a lot of designs still drafted up by hand.

I do as much work from prints, and sketches as I do from CAD files. As a matter of fact for years I would sketch while sitting down talking with an architect give life to their Ideas. I have been in the architecture field off and on since 85, and am familiar with the gamut - from land planning to wall sections. There is no shortage of talent, and skill in these forums so I think you will find what you need be it me or someone else.

Hi Lude,

I'm a UK based Lightwave artist who seems to be catching more and more architectural work at the moment. If you like my work, I may have time to fit some modelling in and also may have some modelling to farm out in the New Year if certain cogs click into place. I'm based in Derby, my email is duncan@albino-igil.co.uk

I can send samples of my work to an email address if you get in touch, discuss rates etc :)

Cheers,

Duncan

Lude,
I am a partner in a 3d visualisation company based in newcastle upon tyne - uk.
check out our website www.visualimpactuk.com.
a lot of this site portfolio is now out of date however, if you are interested in our services and would like to see more up to date images drop me a line and i would be happy to send an information pack with cd showreel and a number (15) of 3d photographic prints.
We are a partnership of three guys and thats it.....we are always on the lookout for new leads and would like to help you out, again this relationship could work both ways as we are sometimes under resourced ourselves, you know what i mean feast or famine running your own business.
We do hundredes of big name homebuilder visualisations and we have a great understanding of architecture and of course the British seasons, lighting and contextural planting.
We specialise in architectural work alone and create from cad or 'slate'...depends on the client.
Reach me at neilp@visualimpactuk.com or give me a call (0191 490 9122) to discuss rates and delivery etc.
You may also see some of my work in the thread 'fame at last' in this forum

Hi guys thanks for all your responses. Sorry I haven’t replied but I’ve been completely snowed under with work and had a death in the family last week.

Any how, it looks like I have my man (got him through the forum here). Again thanks for the response; I have you all on file, so if I need extra modelling after Christmas I know who to start with.

Cheers,
Lude
