please help

the other day i got onto layout and when ever i now hit play, or move my views, the "display mode" goes "bounding box" and i can only see the objects bounding box and the bones, i have even tried it with simple objects and it still does it...is this normal? can anyone please help? i have already tried dropping it down to wireframe on all views but no luck...anyone?

This is definitely an RTM question. Have a look for Bounding Box Threshold in your manual. It's on page 6.35...

Check your little pull down thingy.

Go into the dispaly- options [d] and set your bounding box- treshold to something higher than what you have now, until the objects dont switch into BB- mode anymore.
