VT2 TO 3 Upgrade

I would like to know if VT3 Upgrade is still avilible to me .
i dont need the power and features of vt4.

if its not availble , what do i do

upgrade to VT4, by contacting your dealer.

I recently upgraded to VT4 software upgrade w/ LW7.5 from VT2 (since I already have standalone LW8).

VT4 is quite an upgrade, never got to see what VT3 looked like. Recently tried that new feature of VT4 that allows you to load a sequence of tga animation frames into VT Edit and it plays the whole animation instantly (in my case it was 300 images)- it was preety cool I was able to overlay the 3d test anim on top of video I had recently captured very quickly.

i just want the software for 3

Since they lowered the price of the software only upgrade for VT4, I am not sure VT3 would be that much cheaper. If any.

You do not have to buy the new hardware to get VT4.

Forget about vt3, Its the same price as vt4, that is if you can even purchase it. Going from any (ANY) previous version of VT to Vt4 >> list msrp is $595, for software including LW7.5, and is usually discounted by an authorized NewTek dealer. My local dealer in Raleigh is Digitek systems, Matt Drabick, and he'll give you a great discount. Awesome - you'll LOVE it. Don :D :D :D :p :) ;)
